Getting to Sagana Resort
Get to Manila or Cebu, then either go straight to Siargao Island or Surigao (which is cheaper but takes a lot longer). If you take the Surigao option, you will need to get a boat from Surigao to Siargao. Once you land in Dapa, the main port of Siargao, the trip to Sagana Resort can be made by either public jeepney, motorbike, or private van.

Transport details are current as of May 2008 and are subject to change at any time. We can assist with some flight, ground and boat transfers if accommodation is booked at Sagana Resort.

As of 1 May 2008 there is no flight from Manila to Surigao City. PAL Express propose to begin flying from Manila to Surigao City starting 1 July 2008.

From Cebu SEAir flies a 17-seater plane directly to Siargao Island. Their current schedule is Monday and Friday. Flights leave around 11am from Cebu; 12pm from Siargao Island. Excess baggage over 10kg per person will be charged at P43/kg. The airline also needs to be informed if carrying surfboards and of bag size. More information from SEAir

A cheaper option from Cebu to Surigao City is by overnight boat on Cokaliong or Sulpicio Shipping Lines. We can arrange meet and greet upon arrival in Surigao and assist with boat transfers to Siargao Island.
